ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Superintendent, you will hold primary responsibility for the day-to-day management of all field operations on a designated project. This role requires a seasoned construction professional capable of leading all site activities, ensuring the project is executed in strict accordance with design, budget, and schedule requirements. You will serve as the principal field leader, driving project momentum and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained.


This position demands direct oversight of subcontractors, trade partners, and all on-site personnel. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex construction projects, preferably within technically demanding environments such as data centers. Your leadership will be critical in translating project plans into a successfully completed physical asset, managing site logistics, and proactively resolving field-level challenges to maintain project progress and performance.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct and coordinate all field personnel and subcontractors to ensure project milestones and productivity targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
  • Enforce and maintain a rigorous site safety program in compliance with all corporate and regulatory standards, leading daily safety briefings and ensuring a zero-incident culture.
  • Manage and drive the project schedule, coordinating trade sequencing, material deliveries, and equipment logistics to maintain the critical path.
  • Implement and oversee quality control programs, conducting regular inspections to ensure all work conforms to contract documents, specifications, and drawings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all on-site activities, facilitating communication and resolving conflicts between trade partners, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive daily logs, progress reports, and as-built documentation, providing accurate and timely updates to the Project Management team.
  • Proactively identify and resolve field issues, construction conflicts, and unforeseen conditions to minimize impacts on schedule and budget.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience as a construction Superintendent, with a demonstrated history of leading field operations.
  • Proven experience managing ground-up construction projects; experience with data centers or other mission-critical facilities is highly preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of all construction disciplines, including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Expertise in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing site safety protocols, with OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Proficiency with construction management software for scheduling, reporting, and project documentation.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and motivate large, diverse teams of trade professionals.
